Little Bats app for iPhone and iPad

Little Bats was developed as a parents version of the soon to be released Bats in the Cave. This app for Pre-K through elementary teaches consonant-vowel-consonant syllables with long vowel with silent "e". Little Bats is the Reading Level 2 - following the Level 1 Fat Cat App (consonant-vowel-consonant with short vowel). Little Bats is based on research using manipulation of letters when there is only one sound change from one word to the next word; i.e. mate to late, etc. Little Bats also has a review from reading level 1, Fat Cat App in the last group of words. An example of alternating the short and long vowels for added practice is: fat - fate - mate - mat.
